![]() ![]() Not only is no binding advertised in the default preferences, but there is no Hand command found among the possible bindings in the Command Search results. Similarly I see that the physical keyboard lists Hand as the command bound to the H key. Why is that binding not visible in the virtual keyboard of the Resolve preferences? When I use the search function in the Command list, I find that Last Frame is bound to apostrophe. The physical keyboard lists Last Frame as the bound command. However there is no command advertised in the Keyboard Preferences for the apostrophe key. It is no surprise at all that semi-colon key displayed in the preferences window says that the command First Frame is bound to that key-that's the same command as is listed on that key on the physical keyboard. Next to that key is the semi-colon/colon key. One concerns the apostrophe/quote key (' "). I opened up the Keyboard preferences window in DR 16.1.2, and using the standard Resolve key bindings, I noticed a few anomalies. I'm trying to get a handle on how the various shortcut labels on the keys relate to key colors and modifier keys. So I have some questions concerning the BMD keyboard and standard resolve shortcuts. Is it possible to select / make active different tracks from the keyboard? For example, if I have clips which overlap on different tracks I would like to move the playhead to a location with overlapping clips, select the track (with the clip of interest), use SHIFT + V to select the clip, and then delete that clip (assuming there is no focus issue, as mentioned in the previous point) - all without using the keyboard. ![]() If I use the mouse to click the timeline then the Delete and Backspace keys work, so it indeed appears to be an issue with focus. However, often the timeline doesn't seem to have focus - so pressing the Delete or Ripl Del key has no effect (on both the Resolve keyboard or a normal keyboard, with Delete or Backspace). I can select a clip on the timeline (at the playhead) by using SHIFT + V. I am trying to do the majority of operations without touching the mouse (as is the intent of the keyboard) but am having difficulty with two aspects:ĭeleting clips. I'm using the Davinci Resolve Editor Keyboard with Studio's new Cut page. ![]()
